• Money can be exchanged in open market in Mingora, Madyan, Bahrain but it is better to exchange in banks or in Dollar East a Money exchange company in Swat market

• Foreign tourists are advised to contact the local police authorities at Kalam before proceeding to the valleys of Ushu, Utor, and Gabral.
• Swat is ideal for camping, trekking, and mountaineering. Permits are necessary to ensure your safe journey. It is advisable to contact the local police when you camp or trek, and the permits can be obtained from the Tourism Division.
